Hillside Kids Ministry
Kids are important at Hillside. Our goal is to create spaces and ministries that point kids to the life changing love & grace of Jesus Christ.
First time to Hillside?
Ages 0-2 (Both services)
We offer a staffed nursery for children up to 2 years old during both services. You will check-in your child at the check-in station outside the nursery, which is upstairs through the lobby.
Ages 3 years old - 3rd grade (9AM Service)
Ages 3 years old - 5th grade (10:45AM Service)
We offer Sunday morning children’s ministry for kids 3 years old - 5th grade. You will check them in downstairs to the right at the check-in station.
You can pre-register below, to make check-in on Sunday morning a breeze.
Our trained volunteers will guide you through the layout of the classrooms, materials used and will explain the pick up process to you.
*All of our volunteers are trained and background checked.
Materials + Curriculum
Our three year old through third grade classes use Lifeway's The Gospel Project. The Gospel Project takes kids on a Christ-centered, chronological 3 year journey through Scripture where kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation.
Our fourth grade through eighth grade classes use The New City Catechism, a non-denominational curriculum aimed at helping students learn the core doctrine of the christian faith via 52 questions and answers spread out over three years.
When kids truly experience the gospel, their hearts are transformed. The gospel never changes and it is important to continue to be reminded of it through continuous study.
Our hope and prayer is to partner with you as you disciple your children and to give you tools to help guide the conversation.
For service activities we have sermon note sheets and coloring pages/activity sheets at the Welcome Center.
Kids Community
Kids Community [KC] meets Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30PM for age 3 through 5th grade from September through April.
Kids Community will begin September 17, 2025.
