We believe that a disciple is a follower of Jesus who is totally dependent on God, willing to be bold, generous with his/her time, treasure and talents and who has a heart to serve others. However, at Hillside we want to know what a disciple “looks like” 24-7. As a result we came up with an acrostic to help us all know what a disciple (of any age) looks like.
A disciple from Hillside is one who will S.E.R.V.E sacrificially: Shaped into Christlikeness Equipped to be used by God Relies on God Voice for missions (locally & globally) Expects to be used by God |
